WWA Windsurfing weekend in the Wairarapa March/April 2007 The WWA is organising a windsurfing weekend in the Wairarapa. The idea is that we will get some windsurfing in on either Lake Oneke for speed sailors and freeriders or Cape Palliser for the wave sailors, with a bit of a knees up at the Lake Ferry Pub on the Saturday night. If there is no wind there are plenty of other options including surfing, golf, fishing, wineries, sight seeing, nursing hangovers, etc. This will be a weekend not to miss for beginners to expert sailors alike. Accommodation is available at the Lake Ferry Pub or at the camp ground. If you want to secure a room ($60 single, $95 double) at the Lake Ferry Pub, for reservations phone 06-307 7831. If you miss out on the pub or want a cheaper option the Lake Ferry camp ground located right next to the lake has heaps of space, some cabins available.
