Clayton Dougan retains the national wave sailing crown
Clayton prevailed in light conditions, against strong crew of Taranaki contenders to secure the wave crown for a second year running.

Tom topples the reigning champ Clayton after the last round is cancelled due to lack of wind.

WWA Ditch Clinic Dec 2nd
A day aimed at progressing your skills. From gear set up to gybes to basic freestyle. Meet at 11am in Evans Bay, on the Shark Bay side in a northerly or Kio bay in a southerly.

WWA AGM & Drinks 28th Oct, 7pm
The 2006 Annual General Meeting of the Wellington Windsurfing Association will be held in the upstairs bar at Molly Molones (corner of Courtenay Place and Taranaki St) on Saturday 28th October at 7pm.

Lyall Bay and Plimmerton cleaned up
About 20 sailors and their family grabbed bags and donned gloves over the weekend to give Lyall Bay and Plimmerton a good spring clean.

Wave Nationals and TWC dates set
The NZ Wave Nationals and the Taranaki Wave Classic 2006 dates have been confirmed. The NZ Wave Nationals will be held on the 13th - 16th October with the TWC the weekend after 20th - 23rd October.
